Freya and Dragon

Freya and the Dragons

Miss Margeaux’s baby, Freya,

Was dainty and wild and fey,

She grabbed a snack,

Ran to the woods,

And there she played all day.

At dinnertime, she stayed away,

And made Miss Margeaux fret,

So, Mr. Nestor tracked the steps,

Of his adventurous brunette.

He found her laughing in a field,

With two enchanted dragons,

She refused to leave them,

So, he hauled them home,

In his trusty four-wheeled wagon.

Freya vowed the dragons had to stay,

Or she herself would go,

Nestor shrugged and Margeaux swore,

But they couldn’t tell her, “No”.

Miss Margeaux therefore had no choice,

But to accept these fiery pets,

Who used the kitties’ litter box,

And smelled like cigarettes.
